Russian biathlete Anastasia Shevchenko took first place in the sprint race at the IBU Cup in Shushen.
At the finish, the representative of Russia showed a time of 21 minutes 30.2 seconds.
The second place went to the Norwegian athlete Carolyn Erdal, who was 1.2 seconds behind the winner.
French biathlete Paula Bothe finished third. She finished 4.3 seconds behind Shevchenko.
As for the other Russians, Ekaterina Noskova finished sixth, Anastasia Goreeva came in 24th, Evgeniya Burtasova was 25th and Natalia Gerbulova finished 39th.
