The World Thai Boxing Junior Championship will be held in Malaysia. The Ukrainian team declared its refusal to participate in the competition because of the performance of athletes from Russia.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ukrainian national team will not be represented at the World Thai Boxing Junior Championship in Malaysia.
It is reported that this decision was made due to the admission of the athletes from Russia and Belarus to the competition despite the calls of the Ukrainian side to the International Federation of Thai Boxing Associations to prohibit the national teams of Russia and Belarus to participate in the World Cup.
World Junior Championships of Thai Boxing under the auspices of IFMA will be held in Malaysia from August 9 to 20, 2022.
