Elena Skarzhinskaya, head of the cybersport department at Synergy University, commented on the news specially for RuNews24.ru.

"The IOC as a whole is actively working towards the development of new technologies. For example, the first official meta universe for fans of the Gangwon-2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games was created by the IOC, the Gangwon-do-2024 Organizing Committee (YOGOC) and Gangwon-do Province with the support of the Ministry of Science and Information and Communication Technology (MSIT).

The IOC is also planning to launch regular Olympic cyber sports games.

We should carefully study these trends and train not only athletes, but also high-quality management personnel," she said.

Recall, the Olympic Games 2024 will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11.

Peacock announced the launch of the program "Your Daily Olympic Recap on Peacock". This program will create about 7 million different variations of the commentator's phrases based on his past performances on NBC.

Notably, Michaels himself, who is already 79 years old, was quite skeptical of the idea. However, when he listened to the computer-generated version of his voice that greeted viewers on his behalf, he was amazed.

"It was incredible!" - the commentator said in his interview with NBC News. - "Amazing and a little frightening."
