Pavlyuchenkova moves up to 12th place in the WTA rankings

Russian tennis player Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova for the first time in her career climbed to 12th place in the WTA ranking.

In the updated WTA ranking, Pavlyuchenkova moved up 4 positions - from 16th to 12th.

The Australian Ashley Bartee remains the leader. The Czech player Barbora Kreichikova has surpassed her compatriot Karolina Plishkova and is now in third place in the ranking.

In addition, Maria Sakkari from Greece moved up to sixth position, Ons Jaber from Tunisia is on the seventh, and Anna Kontaveit from Estonia finished eighth.

Darya Kasatkina occupies the second place in Russia, ranking the 28th. Veronica Kudmentova is no. 31. The recent Kremlin Cup finalist Ekaterina Alexandrova climbed up to the 32nd place.
