In the last game against New Jersey, he again proved to be a top player, scoring one goal and making three assists. This game was the 122nd time in his career that Kucherov has made a significant impact on the results of a game with two or more assists. Thus, he surpassed former team captain Martin St. Louis in this metric.

Kucherov already has 102 points (38 pucks and 64 assists) in 59 games this season, making him the first hockey player in the current National Hockey League season to reach the 100-point mark. With his outstanding performance, he continues to lead the race for the league's top scorer, ahead of Colorado's Nathan MacKinnon in second place.

Last season, Kucherov finished fourth in points in the NHL regular season. His results were impressive, but he has continued to improve this season.

The match against the Devils ended with a 4-1 victory for the Lightning. This win helped the team strengthen their position in the Eastern Conference, sitting in sixth place. While "New Jersey", after a disappointing performance, was on the ninth line of the conference.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin instructed to work out the format of Russia's participation in the Olympics in Paris, as well as the NHL champion broke his own record in speed shooting.
