Most of the money in the family of Wildberries founder Tatyana Bakalchuk goes to new experiences, travel and communication.
The Russian businesswoman told Marie Claire Russia.
Bakalchuk described a family tradition: she goes skiing in January with her husband, seven children and close relatives for a few days. Before the coronavirus pandemic, the Bakalchukes had a similar tradition during the summer, usually flying to Cyprus.
The businesswoman emphasized that it was both socializing, a change of scenery, sports and fostering a family spirit in children.
Bakalchuk also noted that a lot of money in her family goes to the education of children. At the same time, the attributes of a “beautiful life” - apartments, cars, yachts - are not of interest to the founder of Wildberries.
