Now Paris awaits Moscow's response to Moscow's agreement to accept them.
The French authorities intend to start the deportation procedure for 39 Russian citizens suspected of adherence to radical Islam, RIA Novosti reports. However, this requires the consent of the Russian Federation to receive them. Such statements were made by the head of the Ministry of internal Affairs of France Gerald Darmanen.
As specified by the official, the authorities are carefully watching them because of suspicions of radicalization. Last week Paris submitted a list of Russians to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
In response, the Russian authorities have already identified them, Darmanen specified.
He added that he "hopes" for the consent of the Russian side in this matter, pointing out that before the conflict in Ukraine Paris deported many citizens of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, French intelligence accused Russia of fueling hysteria around the bedbug infestation.
