The top officials of the state expressed their condolences in connection with the death of the singer and composer Alexander Gradsky.
People's Artist of Russia died last night from a cerebral infarction. The farewell ceremony will take place on December 1.
Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a telegram of condolences to the family and friends of Alexander Gradsky.
Also, the death of the artist was commented on by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The Prime Minister called the musician a unique composer and a true legend of Russian rock. He stressed that the departure of Alexander Gradsky is an irreparable loss for Soviet and Russian culture.
"A multifaceted and spiritually generous man, he always gave himself wholeheartedly to his audience, colleagues and students. Alexander Borisovich Gradsky is no longer with us, but his rich creative legacy and his good memory remain," the politician added.
