According to the head of the administration Alexander Yuriev, the transformer substations were de-energized due to technical problems.
At present, all faults have been eliminated and electricity supply has been fully restored. All consumers are receiving electricity, the mayor said.
The accident on the power grid on Wednesday led to the disconnection of ten substations that provide power supply to Yevpatoria.
Earlier it was reported that part of Sevastopol from May 28 remained without light for a week due to urgent repair work on electrical equipment. In Kerch from May 30, a three-day water shutdown is planned in connection with emergency work on the main water pipeline.
