More than 1.1 million Russians are fined for violation of coronavirus measures

Police have brought more than 1.1 million people who violated coronavirus restrictions to administrative responsibility since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to TASS, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, for non-compliance with the high-alert regime, quarantine, self-isolation, the police amounted to over 1.1 million protocols.

Most Russians (976.9 thousand) are involved for failure to comply with the rules of conduct for emergencies or the threat of its occurrence. The maximum fine under this article is 1 thousand rubles.

In second place are Muscovite violators of a similar article, only the metropolitan code. Under this article, 109.2 thousand protocols were compiled.

The least fines issued for violating legislation in the field of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population are 21.5 thousand protocols. The minimum fine for it is 15 thousand rubles.

The total amount of fines for all items amounted to about 1.7 billion rubles.
