The journalist was a volunteer in a trial of a Russian vaccine against coronavirus infection. On Friday, he said he was infected.
Journalist, media manager, television and radio host Alexei Pivovarov contracted COVID-19, which he spoke about in his Twitter account, adding that many relatives had already reported it.
Alexey also wrote that two months ago he became a volunteer in the trials of the first Russian Sputnik V vaccine, but either received a placebo instead of a drug, or the vaccine did not work, as the journalist suggested.
Pivovarov added that he is on self-isolation for the fifth day, but he continues to work distantly, equipping a home studio, so all programs on his YouTube channel will continue to be released on schedule.
