On board a British Airways flight from Turks and Caicos to London, food containers were not refrigerated in time, resulting in the need to throw away all the food. However, the airline came up with an ingenious solution to the problem.

Instead of the usual in-flight meals during a scheduled stopover in the Bahamas, crew members decided to buy several buckets of chicken from KFC.

Passengers on the flight were surprised when flight attendants started serving fried chicken in the economy and business class of the Boeing 777. Some of them took a video of this unusual process and posted it online.

However, it has to be noted that such a decision caused a variety of reactions. Some passengers called it "shocking content" and an "absolute disgrace" for the airline. While others defended British Airways, arguing that the extreme heat ruined the food and the company chose not to risk the health of passengers by providing them with a tasty and safe alternative. As a result of this order, the flight departed an hour late.
