New cases have been initiated in several Russian regions in connection with simultaneous price increases for hen's eggs. The Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Kemerovo, Voronezh, Ivanovo and Donetsk People's Republics reported the launch of investigations into the matter.
The FAS has previously notified of the initiation of proceedings in connection with the increase in egg prices, having found evidence of cartelization between several producers in the Crimea and Kirov region. There, prices rose by up to 94% and 60% respectively.
According to the agency, two poultry farms in the Kemerovo region dominate the regional market. They raised wholesale egg prices by up to 40% per month while lowering production costs. The case was initiated on suspicion of abuse of dominant position.
Similar situations with price increases were also recorded in other regions and even in the Donetsk People's Republic. The FAS in these regions has launched an investigation against several producers on the grounds of violation of antimonopoly legislation. The head of the FAS Maxim Shaskolsky noted that in some cases, the price rise was caused not by economic reasons, but by collusion between producers. In total, cases of such violations are being investigated in six regions.
Recall that earlier it was named the number of victims of the attack of the AFU on Feodosia.
In addition, an indulgence was made for Russians with car licenses.
