Federal Air Transport Agency extended the ban on flights to 11 Russian airports until September 4

This is the 27th time the flight ban has been extended since the start of the special operation.

Flights to some airports in southern and central Russia remain inaccessible to Russians until September 4. The Federal Air Transport Agency announced the extension of the regime of temporary restrictions on civil aviation flights on its official website.

"The regime of flight restrictions to 11 airports in the south and center of Russia has been extended until September 4, 2022," the release said.

This applies to airports in Anapa, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod, Lipetsk Rostov-on-Don, Elista, Voronezh and Simferopol.

To travel around the country is recommended to use other routes, such as through Moscow, Sochi, Stavropol or Mineralnye Vody. Or use ground transportation.
