Ban on civil aviation flights to central and southern Russian airports extended until December 3

Due to the forced downtime, the airports were allocated subsidies totaling more than 7.5 billion rubles.

A ban on civil aviation flights to a number of southern and central airports in Russia has been extended until December 3. The restriction was imposed by the Federal Air Transport Agency immediately after the start of the special operation in Ukraine and is extended weekly.

Passengers still cannot travel by plane directly to airports in Krasnodar, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Rostov-on-Don, Bryansk, Voronezh, Belgorod, Kursk, Lipetsk, Simferopol and Elista. Citizens are advised to reach their destination via Moscow, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Sochi.

Due to the forced downtime of airports, they were allocated subsidies totaling more than 7.5 billion rubles - in April, May, August and October.
