In Sochi, the authorities have introduced a ban on swimming due to a storm in the sea. This was reported by representatives of the city administration, specifying that bathing is temporarily restricted on beach areas in all inner-city districts.
Warnings about unfavorable weather were sent out to all users of beach areas in Greater Sochi in advance so that they could take appropriate measures. The city authorities noted that the decision to ban bathing is made depending on the current situation in each particular area.
On the beaches, lifeguards warn tourists about the ban on bathing, do not let vacationers to the water and place information on stands. Restrictions are in effect on the beaches of the Central district, partially in Khostinsky, Lazarevsky and Adler districts.
According to forecasters, July 23 and 24 in Sochi and Sirius are predicted heavy downpours with thunderstorms and hail, as well as wind strengthening up to 15-18 m/s. Local residents noticed a tornado over the sea, which passed over the water surface without reaching the shore and disappeared.
Earlier, the fire in the port “Caucasus” from a drone in the Krasnodar region extinguished. It also became known about the death of one of the victims of the fire at the market of Apsheronsk on Monday.
