Kazan Airport temporarily suspends the reception and dispatch of flights from 11:30 Moscow time, announced Rosaviatsia.
According to Rosaviatsia, this is due to the introduction of temporary restrictions to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights during the day on May 23 (Thursday).
The organization also noted that aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services are taking all necessary measures to ensure flight safety.
Prior to that, the airports of Kazan and Nizhnekamsk suspended operations for the last time on May 15 due to the threat of UAVs.
Also today, several targets were shot down by air defense systems on the approach to Belgorod.
