American graphics processor manufacturer Nvidia announced its departure from Russia amid anti-Russian sanctions.
"During the first quarter of fiscal 2023, we suspended direct sales to Russia," the NVIDIA Investor portal reports.
The company closed its business operations in Russia in the third quarter.
The share of Nvidia's revenue from direct sales in the Russian market in fiscal 2022 was about 2%.
The Ukrainian conflict had a negative impact on sales in Russia, the company said.
On July 1, Nvidia stopped selling and renewing licenses for cloud gaming software in Russia.
Then Mobile Research Group analyst Eldar Murtazin said that the software acquired in Russia by American Nvidia continues to function.
Nvidia, like many other foreign companies, stopped supplying to Russia after the start of the special operation in Ukraine. Such major software vendors as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP and Adobe have left the Russian market.
