A representative of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, speaking today with reporters, said that next week the cost of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine will be announced.
It is worth noting that the Russian vaccine Sputnik V against coronavirus will be much cheaper than American analogues, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
Previously announced prices of $19.5 per dose of Pfizer vaccine and $25-37 per dose of Moderna vaccine mean that their cost will be $39 and $50-74 per person. Moreover, one person needs two doses of following vaccines: Pfizer, Sputnik V and Moderna.
The price of Sputnik V will be much lower.
Earlier, the head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, Igor Artemyev, said that the cost of the Sputnik V dose would not exceed a thousand rubles.
