Sberbank reassured that on the territory of Russia there will be no changes in the work of the financial organization.
The next EU sanctions against Sberbank will not affect the work inside the country. Sber representatives told about it on the official website.
On Thursday, July 21, a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation was published. In particular, it included a number of restrictions for Sberbank. Previously, Sber was under sanctions from Britain and the United States. In this case, the restrictions included the freezing of assets and a ban on any transactions with individuals and legal entities from the European Union.
"The sanctions will not affect the work of the bank inside the country. The financial institution operates in normal mode, taking into account the previous and new restrictions," reported in Sberbank.
It was also added that the disconnection from SWIFT "does not change the current situation" in payments to organizations from other countries.
