He concluded that the Western countries were «firing all the guns they had at once and simultaneously in different directions».
Kyle Szostak, owner of Navigator Principal Investors, said America's new anti-Russian sanctions have not surprised anyone.
"The latest sanctions measures imposed by the U.S., the U.K., and Australia, while looking extremely multidirectional, have lacked depth and have not added any new intrigue," he said.
The company director said he got the impression that Western countries "were firing all their guns simultaneously and in different directions.
It is worth mentioning that the new restrictions were imposed on the metallurgical industry and diamond and gold mining. Shostak said that this is not a new decision, since most of these organizations, or their owners are under sanctions by the United States.
He also stressed that many banks in Russia are already disconnected from SWIFT and do not conduct external operations. That is why the new sanctions are ineffective.
Recall that on May 19, the U.S. Department of Commerce imposed new sanctions against 70 Russian organizations.
