The press secretary of the head of state stated that the topic of a new mobilization was not discussed by the authorities.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the likelihood of a new wave of mobilization. According to him, the Russian authorities have not discussed this issue at the moment. However, the spokesman noted that he could not speak for the Defense Ministry.
On October 28, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to President Vladimir Putin on the completion of measures related to the country's partial mobilization. All in all, about 300,000 servicemen were drafted.
The mobilized citizens are currently undergoing training and combat training for participation in a military special operation in Ukraine.
