Konstantin Kobyakov, an ecologist and member of the public council at the Federal Forestry Agency, said that although a dacha owner can dispose of all the property on his private plot, this does not apply to red-listed trees and shrubs. And it is categorically forbidden to destroy even on private property.
In a conversation with aif.ru, he noted that such plots often border forest belts. For damage to even one tree can pay a fine of 4000 rubles. Before you start cutting, you need to find out what land it grows on by contacting the forestry or municipality.
