PepsiCo completely halted production of 7UP, Mountain Dew and Pepsi in Russia

This is a pre-planned step associated with the complete depletion of concentrate stocks in the company's warehouses in Russia.

PepsiCo has announced that it is ending production of Pepsi, mountain Dew and 7UP soft drinks in Russia. It is reported by Reuters, citing a source in the company.

The stoppage of production is due to the fact that the warehouses have run out of concentrates of these drinks. In March, the manufacturer announced that they would stop bottling soda on the territory of the Russian Federation when the stocks of concentrates ran out.

The agency made an inquiry to PepsiCo when bottles of beverages bearing the August 17 date were found in dozens of hypermarkets, stores and other outlets. In response to a query, the company said that production had already been discontinued.

"Concentrate stocks in the Russian Federation have been exhausted," the company said.
