Russian President Vladimir Putin in mid-November 2021 instructed to develop an application to fine drivers by photo and video. The mobile application will be created soon.
According to the portal Autonews, the application will be unofficially called "National Inspector". It is planned to create it on the basis of the Moscow Assistant.
The new application will allow the Russians to send complaints about violations of parking rules in the zone of the signs "Stop Banned" and "Parking Banned". In addition, complaints can be sent for parking on lawns and for non-payment of parking.
Fines based on complaints sent in the application will be issued without drawing up a protocol. The Russian government must amend the legislation no later than June 1, 2022.
