Earlier, in the morning of April 17, Rosaviatsia announced the temporary restriction of airports in Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Nizhnekamsk to ensure safety. However, the agency later announced the resumption of airport operations in Nizhny Novgorod.

The restrictions were imposed after several Telegram channels reported a possible threat of drone attacks in the Moscow region. According to RBC, in the Moscow region was activated plan "Cover", designed for situations of illegal border crossing or the appearance in the airspace of unidentified objects.

Earlier, the Crimean authorities explained how to bypass the blocked road near Dzhankoy.
