The head of state in his address to the organizers and participants of the national award “People Change the Country” expressed gratitude to the laureates for their active participation in the development and improvement of Russia. Vladimir Putin said in a congratulatory telegram that he was sincerely pleased to welcome the participants of the gala event dedicated to the awarding of the “People Change the Country” prize.
"Today we honor citizens of different professions and generations: from businessmen to builders, from transport workers to scientists, from teachers to medics, including spiritual leaders and volunteers - all those who have proposed and successfully implemented significant social and technological projects. I express my deep gratitude for innovative ideas, perseverance and contribution to Russia's progress," the President said in his address.
The President emphasized that the name of the award accurately reflects its essence. He also added that the multinational people of Russia are united by a sense of responsibility for the country's future and common values.
"First of all, it is love and faith in Russia, cohesion, unity around important goals, readiness to overcome any obstacles. This shows that our country will continue its confident advancement. From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate the winners of the award “People Change the Country” on their well-deserved honor.
