A queue of more than 1,200 cars formed at the Crimean bridge on Monday morning, according to a Telegram channel covering the operational situation at the bridge.
On the Taman side, more than 1,100 vehicles are waiting for passage, and the waiting time exceeds three hours. On the Kerch side, 145 vehicles are waiting in line.
Traffic on the Crimean bridge was closed at 06:11 Moscow time and resumed 40 minutes later. Earlier in the night, the bridge was also closed for two hours, from 03:28 to 05:22 Moscow time.
Cars, buses, non-truck vans and minivans, and pickup trucks are allowed on the bridge. Trucks can get to Crimea via the Kerch ferry crossing (only for priority cargo) or by overland route through new regions along the Sea of Azov.
Before that, traffic jams on the bridge were also observed on Saturday, July 13. Also, the Defense Ministry reported the destruction of an echelon with fighters and military equipment of the AFU.
