A fake app «Sber: Online Bank» that mimics Sberbank's service has been discovered in the App Store.
This was stated by an official representative of the bank to TASS. It has the appearance and logo of the bank, and the developer is listed as a certain Cao Tan Thang Steel company LTD.
Sberbank's support service confirmed that this application is fraudulent and its download may lead to the leakage of personal data.
Users are advised to delete the entered data and the application itself, if they have already downloaded it. It is also worth changing the password for access to the mobile bank in case of using a fake application.
