The Coca-Cola Company, which will leave the Russian market in 2022, has filed three trademark applications with Rospatent - Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fanta, as noted in Vedomosti.

These brands are registered in the 32nd and 33rd classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services, covering soft and alcoholic beverages, as well as carbonated water.

According to NielsenIQ, the Russian brand Dobryy, the successor to Coca-Cola in Russia, ranked second in terms of sales volume among FMCGs in Russia from January through August 2023.

The Coca-Cola Company was one of the first to announce the suspension of operations in Russia, doing so on March 8, 2022, two weeks after Russia's hostilities in Ukraine began.

Earlier it became known that Sony will release a movie about the confrontation between Coca-Cola and Pepsi, and the media learned that Western companies are changing their opinion about Russia in an attempt to keep business in the country.
