Last year, Russians received almost 40% more invitations to work abroad. Kazakhstan, Belarus and Georgia are the leaders in terms of the number of invitations.
In 2023, residents of the Russian Federation received 38% more invitations to vacancies abroad - 516 thousand, according to the study of the job search service Headhunter. We are talking about foreign and Russian employers, RBC writes.
The largest increase in the number of invitations is noted in Turkmenistan (22 invitations in 2022 against 301 in 2023, an increase of 14 times). From Argentina received 744 invitations, a year earlier there were only 104. Also from the United States, Russians received 18.9 thousand invitations last year, and five times less the year before.
From Great Britain received 1.2 thousand invitations, while a year earlier there were 252. Also the growth of invitations for employment of Russians was noted in Greece (49 and 206, a fourfold increase), Romania (28 and 110, a fourfold increase) and Georgia (23.5 thousand and 84 thousand, a fourfold increase).
In addition, Russians received invitations from South Korea, Serbia, UAE and other countries in Europe, Africa, South America and the Middle East.
Analysts emphasised that in 2023 Russian citizens did not receive a single invitation from Switzerland, Congo and Iceland, although in 2022 their number was in the tens and hundreds.
Russians received the most invitations in Kazakhstan (28% or 142.7 thousand), Belarus (21% or 106.3 thousand) and Georgia (16% or 84.1 thousand).
Sales managers (13%), programmers (11%), call-centre operators, designers/artists and testers (5% each) are required to work abroad.
