On September 1, 2024, new requirements of the Ministry of Health to the contents of a car first aid kit will come into force. This is reported by the head of the Delomant Group law firm, Taisiya Veprentseva.
According to the updated standards, the first aid kit for drivers will be supplemented with medical masks and gloves, a mask for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, a tourniquet to stop bleeding, a gauze bandage, a skin patch, a rescue blanket, as well as a pair of scissors for bandaging and surgical scissors.
In addition, Veprentseva specified "RIA Novosti" that since September 2023, both car first aid kits and fire extinguishers have been excluded from the mandatory list for technical inspection.
