For the first time in history, the cover of Glamour Bulgaria magazine was created with the help of artificial intelligence, reports the New York Post.

Lisa Opie, 32, a former Miss Virgin Islands titleholder, became the main character of the August issue, upcoming on the cover as a futuristic Barbie.

She shared, "Our team was conceptualizing the cover and we decided to go with a futuristic theme with Barbie. For me, Barbie is not only a lifestyle but also a part of my very identity. And with the Barbie movie coming out soon, everything matched perfectly."

While preparing for the photo shoot, Opie and her stylist Joey Rolonom discovered an image of Barbie created by an artificial intelligence. They contacted its author, Fran X, who has an Instagram account.

They agreed to collaborate, and Opie provided her with dozens of photos of her face from all angles. In about 20 minutes, the artificial intelligence created about 50 variations of the cover.

Opie remarked, "It was very easy and fun. Sometimes the results were better than we expected and we really enjoyed seeing the artificial intelligence give us new ideas."

The model shared her excitement about using artificial intelligence to create the cover and admitted that it was an innovative and exciting experience for her.
