The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has put former TV presenter of STS channel Tatyana Lazareva (recognized as an foreign agent) on the wanted list.
Information about her wanted notice appeared in a special database of the Interior Ministry. According to TASS, the basis for the search was an article of the Russian Criminal Code, concerning the discrediting of the Russian army.
Tatyana Lazareva was included in the register of foreign agents on July 22, 2022, and in June 2023 she was fined 30 thousand rubles for the lack of labeling in public messages. In her defense, she claimed that she did not consider herself a foreign agent. After the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, Lazareva left Russia and went to Spain.
Earlier, a court in Moscow sentenced in absentia a former "What? Where? When?" player for fakes about the Russian Armed Forces, and Yuliya Tymoshenko was also put on the wanted list.
