From November 8 Sverdlovsk region introduces QR-code system in public areas

The regional authorities are introducing a QR code system for visiting cultural institutions, beauty salons and sanatoriums from November 8. This was announced by the governor of the Sverdlovsk region Yevgeny Kuyvashev.

The head of the region instructed the government to start creating COVID-19 free zones in the region.

"From November 8, QR codes will start working in theaters, concert venues, philharmonic societies, cinemas, cultural halls, beauty salons, sanatoriums and recreation centers. Regional Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Federal State Agency for Health and Consumer Rights) announced about this suggestion. "My colleagues and I have carefully worked it out and agreed. I signed the corresponding decree, "Kuyvashev wrote on his Instagram page.

He stressed that other objects and areas of activity, where QR codes will also be introduced, are now being considered

The governor added that from October 25, the QR code system will come into force for officials: all employees of the residence, government and municipal administrations, as well as libraries, museums, exhibition centers and sports facilities must be vaccinated against covid or have a document on the transferred disease, otherwise they will be suspended from work.
