The Japanese scientists established that coronavirus remains on human skin much longer, than a virus of common flu. On average they determined nine hours term.
If flu remains on skin only an hour or two, then COVID-19 at least six and at most 11 hours. That is approximately five times longer.
On plastic and metal surfaces the coronavirus in general "lives" for several weeks.
However, processing with 80 percent of ethanol destroys COVID-19 in 15 seconds, Asahi writes, citing a research of scientists of the medical university of Kyoto.
They also found out: if you wash hands flowing water, it is possible to reduce the number of viruses on skin by 100 times. When washing hands with soap, their concentration falls up to 0.0001 percent.
