Internet users have started to complain en masse about the beginning of the recent process of traffic slowdown on the popular video site. After complaints to Internet providers, the issue of YouTube's slowdown was not resolved by technical support, and people began to terminate their contracts with providers.
At the moment, it is known that users have already terminated Internet subscription agreements with more than 135 regional operators due to complaints.
The reason for this was the fact that subscribers blame the home internet providers themselves for YouTube's slowdown, as, for example, on mobile internet the video hosting works, but with fixed internet it does not.
"The negative reaction to Internet providers is now counted in many thousands of complaints," said Oleg Grishchenko, president of the Rosteleset association.
Grishchenko also noted that the association has received about 100 complaints from the Internet providers themselves, asking them to deal with the situation with the outflow of users due to the slowdown of video hosting.
"Rosteleset" has prepared a statement to Roskomnadzor and the Ministry of Digital Affairs, which describes the situation of the difficult situation of telecom operators faced with the problem of slowing down YouTube, as well as google search engine and other services, due to which the number of complaints and applications for termination of contracts with providers from users has increased manifold.
