The water level in the Ural River near Orenburg reached 1120 centimeters by Friday morning, April 12, according to the first deputy mayor of the city Alexei Kudinov.

Overnight it grew by 17 centimeters, as a result 361 more houses and 900 plots were flooded. Water in the river continues to arrive.

At the same time, the water level in Orsk is recorded to decrease to 819 centimeters.

Orenburg authorities later informed that the water level in the Ural River in Orenburg will decrease, according to forecasts, in two days.

Spring flood in the Orenburg region in 2024 became the most high-water in the history of observations.
