The U.S. Supreme Court upheld New York's anti-gun law from the summer of 2022.
The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday, Jan. 11, upheld a New York state law restricting the right to bear arms in places like Times Square, schools, bars and hospitals.
The law was passed this summer by New York State and the city in response to a June 2022 decision on the right to bear arms by a conservative majority of the court (six of nine justices).
