The authorities of the Leningrad region announced the introduction of QR code system from November 15 for visiting entertainment and sports facilities. According to the press service of the regional government, Governor Alexander Drozdenko signed the relevant amendments to the decree aimed at combating COVID.
The QR code will give an opportunity to get into theaters, cinemas, circuses, swimming pools and fitness clubs. Certificates of a negative test result for coronavirus or a recent illness will also be valid.
In accordance with the decree, all employees of the listed organizations must undergo a full course of vaccination, have a medical withdrawal from vaccination, and have a certificate of a past illness for the last six months. If there is no such certificate, then the results of the PCR test are used every 72 hours. A similar regime will be introduced for transport and social workers.
Mass events will also be organized taking into account the zones. “Red” (no more than 300 participants), “yellow” (up to 500) and “green” (up to 1000).
