Two large groups of illegal migrants were able to enter Poland from Belarus.
Katarzyna Zdanowicz, press secretary of the Polish Border Guard Office in Podlaskie, told Polish Radio that two groups of illegal migrants were able to enter Poland from Belarus. In both cases, it came to forceful invasion with the destruction of the fence, which was installed on the border, said Zdanovich.
According to the Polish border guards, the migrants have attempted to storm the area of Bialowieza and Krynki. The groups of refugees numbered several dozen people, some of whom have returned to the Belarusian side, while the rest are wanted.
In the area of the migrant camp near the border crossing in Kuznitsa, where several hundred refugees are being held, the radio station reports that the situation is calm. Migrants receive food from Belarusians. Foreigners have tents and sleeping bags, and in the evening they light bonfires to keep warm. At the same time, they are constantly monitored by the services of Belarus, Polish radio notes.
According to the estimates of the Polish border guard, from Monday, November 8, in the immediate vicinity of the border of the republic there are from two to four thousand people trying to enter the EU.
