While a serving of cream ice cream in Ingushetia may cost less than 30 rubles, in some other regions it is sold for two or three times as much. Moscow and St. Petersburg are among the regions with expensive ice cream.
Rosstat has calculated the prices for ice cream in different regions of Russia and found out that the most expensive portion of the treat will cost the residents of Chukotka, Sakhalin and Murmansk region. But the cheapest ice cream is sold in Mordovia, Chechnya and Ingushetia.
The latest data are available only for March. According to RIA Novosti, in Murmansk region, one will have to pay Br109 for 70 grams of cream ice cream, while in Chukotka - Br100, and in Sakhalin - Br89. For comparison, in Ingushetia the same portion can be bought for only 25 rubles, and in Chechnya it will cost 33 rubles. With the average Russian price of 60 rubles, Moscow and St. Petersburg will ask 74 and 70 rubles for a portion, respectively.
