The total area of premises amounted to 69 thousand sq. m.
In 2023, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses continued to actively buy out premises in Moscow by pre-emptive right, said Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property Relations, noting that last year businessmen bought out 368 properties with a total area of 69 thousand square meters, thus maintaining the level of transactions from last year.
These transactions are available to business representatives who rent premises from the city for at least two years and are included in the register of small and medium-sized businesses. It is important to note that the premises sold at specialized auctions for small and medium-sized businesses must remain in use by this category of entrepreneurs for at least five years.
Head of the City Property Department Maxim Gaman emphasized that the premises in the city center are of great interest to businesses. Here last year 86 objects with a total area of 20.6 thousand square meters were bought out. In other territories the demand also remained significant: in the north of the city entrepreneurs bought 47 premises, and in the south-west - 45.
In addition, transactions were made in other areas of the city's development: in the south, north-east and other districts. The general picture shows a constant interest of entrepreneurs to purchase premises in different parts of the capital and in Zelenograd.
