The Russian vaccine Sputnik V has been added to the Israeli Ministry of Health's list of vaccines for entry with a serological test.
Foreign tourists who were vaccinated with vaccines approved by WHO or "Sputnik V" subject to a positive serological test after arrival, as well as persons who have recovered covid and having the appropriate certificate, will be allowed to enter Israel from January 9.
This is reported in the rules for the entry of foreign nationals into the state, published on the portal of the Israeli Ministry of Health.
"The point of Israel's recognition of recovery abroad or vaccinations taken abroad, is to provide the opportunity to stay in a reduced quarantine after entry into Israel and receive a green pass after quarantine," the ministry noted.
