More than 500 employees of IKEA plants in Russia signed a petition demanding payment

In particular, the employees demand accrual of an annual bonus, preservation of their jobs and payment of eight salaries in case of dismissal.

More than 500 employees of IKEA plants in the Leningrad and Kirov regions signed a petition demanding payment. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the organizer of the Forest Industries Trade Union, Alexander Illarionov.

In particular, the employees demand preservation and payment of the annual bonus, preservation of jobs in case of change of the company owner as well as payment of eight salaries in case of dismissal of an employee.

Today, on December 5, "IKEA Tikhvin" and "IKEA Vyatka" trade unions sent signed petitions to their parent companies. It is noted that their demands are to be handed over to the office of the IKEA mother company in Sweden. According to Alexander Illarionov, more than 500 employees of both plants, which currently employ 900 people, have signed the petition.
