Turkish President Erdogan reported 912 confirmed quake victims

According to the latest figures announced Monday by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the earthquake in the east of the country killed 912 people, 5,385 citizens were injured in various ways, 2,470 people were rescued.

Also, 2,818 buildings collapsed because of the earthquake, RIA Novosti reported.

Recall that the earthquake occurred today near the city of Gaziantep with a population of more than one million people, where the magnitude of the vibrations was 7.8.

The Russian Emergency Ministry said it was ready to send two Il-76 planes to help rescue the residents.

Also in Syria, the largest oil refinery in the country stopped operations due to damaged equipment.
