Austria will lift all restrictions on flights from Russia as of November 9 without changing entry rules

Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Linhart announced the forthcoming lifting of restrictions on flights with Russia. Flights are scheduled to resume on November 9.

“We categorically welcome Russia's proposal to lift the restrictions and begin retaliatory actions from November 9th. Nevertheless, the rules of entry remain the same, ”said Michael Linhart in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Today you can enter Austria from Russia on a tourist visa with a vaccination certificate, which must be approved by the EU or WHO. In the absence of documents, citizens will have to go to a 10-day quarantine.

Russia also resumes flights with nine countries from November 9. Regular flights will begin to fly to the Bahamas, Iran, the Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Slovenia, Tunisia, Thailand and Sweden.
