Administrative liability will be introduced for airlines violating baggage rules

The corresponding article will appear in the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. In the opinion of Senator Airat Gibatdinov, who proposed its introduction, it is necessary to suppress the airlines' policy of setting their own special internal transportation rules.

Russia will update the Code of Administrative Offenses (CAO) by introducing penalties for airlines that violate the rules of transportation of passengers' luggage and hand luggage. The corresponding request was submitted by Senator Airat Gibatdinov to the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

A new article “Violation of the rules of transportation of passengers, hand luggage, baggage and cargo on air transport” will appear in the CAO RF. According to Gibatdinov, today air carriers bear no responsibility for these violations. Because of this, airlines introduce regulations that run counter to the Federal Rules of Air Transportation.

In a conversation with RIA Novosti, the senator noted that such regulation in the field of air transportation is an important step towards eliminating abuses by airlines and their introduction of various internal rules and restrictions.

In Lobnya near Moscow there appeared a Lyceum, which will train aircraft builders from school.
