The radio station «Echo of Moscow» will be liquidated by decision of the board of directors, as reported by the editor-in-chief of the station Alexei Venediktov.
The Board of Directors of ZAO Ekho Moskvy decided to liquidate the company. “A majority of votes passed a decision to liquidate the radio channel and the Ekho Moskvy website,” wrote Alexei Venediktov in his Telegram channel.
This information was confirmed to the TASS agency in the press service of Gazprom-Media. According to Venediktov, it was not the board of directors who had previously hinted at such an outcome, but “people are much higher.” He noted that Roskomnadzor demanded that Google remove the radio station's application from the official store.
“Today at 14:00 a meeting of Ekho Moskvy journalists will be held,” the editor-in-chief of the radio station told TASS.
