The White House will spend half a million dollars for a formal dinner between U.S. and French presidents Joe Biden and Emmanuel Macron.
A gala dinner between U.S. and French leaders Joe Biden and Emmanuel Macron that was scheduled for Thursday will cost the White House $500,000, CNN reported.
"The latest figures we have are half a million dollars," CNN notes.
The specified amount includes expensive dishes, decorations and rental dishes.
BFMTV previously reported that the dinner menu for Biden and Macron includes lobster, caviar, zucchini ravioli, beef with potatoes, topinambour and watercress cream. For dessert, the presidents will have orange cake and roasted pears with citrus sauce and ice cream.
